Properties

• Basic Information

  • Name* - Name of broadcast given by user

  • Schedule Start Date - Schedule date of the broadcast

• Recipients

  • Channel* - The Channel to broadcast to

  • Target Rule - Special rules to filter for target recipients

  • Tags - Customer tags to filter for recipients

• Content

  • Message Template - The Message Template to use for broadcast

  • Language - The language of the template

Remarks

• A Broadcast sends messages progressively by the system, hence recipients may not receive message at the same time

• Some channel provider, such as WhatsApp, will moderate the message’s content

  • Job ID - ID generated by system

  • Name - Name of Job

  • Schedule Start Date - Schedule date of the broadcast

  • Status
    

    • COMPLETED - Job finished processing

    • CREATED - Job not yet started

    • EXECUTING - Job in progress

    • QUEUED - Job waiting to be executed

• Job Statistics - High level task progress

• Broadcast Statistics

  • % Delivered - Percentage of messages delivered to recipient

  • % Read - Percentage of messages read by recipient

  • % Failed - Percentage of messages failed to deliver to recipient

• Tasks

  • ID - Task identifier

  • Status
    

    • ABORTED - Failed to execute or cancelled by user

    • COMPLETED - Completed successfully

    • CREATED - Waiting to be executed

    • EXECUTING - Task in progress

    • FAILED - Execution failed, can retry

Remarks

• It is possible Broadcast Job’s Status is COMPLETED, but not all Tasks has been completed, since some Task could not complete successfully.
